Unfortunately, since she escaped, the Russians are after her. The Russians believe that Finn helped her and are closely watching Finn and his team of Marcus and Connie. Finn is completely taken with Josie and can't get her out of his mind. Josie is definitely curiously interested in Finn but realizes that he's doing illegal things as well. Josie
The air smells of salt and old fish, pretty much the smell of every working waterfront in the Pacific Northwest. I’m thirty yards away, lying flat on my belly in wet pine scrub, photographing a boat that does not belong here.
I’ve got my long lens on, flash off, a microfiber cloth draped over the body so as not to catch a stray beam of light that might come my way.
I’m on an elevated bluff and below me is the dock. It’s a single-vessel slip, about sixty feet of weathered planking running out into the channel. According to the property records, it’s been owned by the same fishing family for ninety years, but the owners are in Arizona for the off-season. The dock has been unattended since they left, and BOB hypothesized that it had a high probability of seeing action. He flagged it late yesterday afternoon and I double-checked the data. The pattern was too clean to be coincidence and too small to be anything else.
Good ol’ BOB. He’s the artificial intelligence system created by brains smarter than me at Jameson Force Seattle and is my main partner within the company. The B-O-B doesn’t stand for anything in particular. It’s more of an easy, affectionate human name. He runs predictive analysis across whatever data points I feed him, and he’s very good at noticing things that I might not.
As the company’s lead intelligence specialist, it was a tough pill to swallow that I simply couldn’t be the smartest, but now we’re good friends. I implicitly trusted him when he told me this desolate fishing dock near Anacortes on Fidalgo Island might be a prime spot for human traffickers to off-load women smuggled in from Canada.
The FBI brought Jameson onto this case six weeks ago. They’ve been working a maritime trafficking pipeline for the better part of a year. The women—mostly Eastern European and Southeast Asian—are brought into Canada and then moved through Vancouver into the Salish Sea. From there, it’s easy enough to avoid the maritime authorities and off-load them at any number of abandoned docks like this one, where they’ll be distributed into the American economy.
Why would the FBI hire a private security consulting firm?
Mainly because we have bigger and better toys, the least of which is BOB.
I put my eye back up to the camera and snap off a flurry of photos—three men in dark jackets with knit caps on their heads for warmth. They’re illuminated by a single light attached to the top of a pole halfway out on the dock, but it’s not good enough for me to identify any distinguishing characteristics. One of them smokes a cigarette, and once in a while, the smell wafts up my way.
Then I hear it… an engine. Out of the black night, a forty-foot boat with a black hull and no running lights appears. The engine cuts and the boat drifts in slowly. Whoever’s at the helm has done this before, but in my research of maritime smuggling, I learned that these are some of the most accomplished boat captains around.
The temperature dropped after sundown and my fingers are stiff from the cold. I want to roll and stretch my back, but I don’t dare move. Surveillance is a discipline of not moving, and I’m very good at it.
The boat reaches the dock and two men come down from the small wheelhouse while one of the men on the dock ties off the bow line. Someone says something, mumbled words I can’t make out, and another man laughs.
Then they start unloading.
Even though I suspected it, and even though I hoped beyond hope I’d find some sort of evidence tonight, I truly didn’t think I’d see the women.
The first one is hauled up from below, her wrists cuffed and a man’s hand at the back of her neck. Then another one behind her. Then another. Six total, and my stomach churns with nausea.
I’ve got my gun on me. I could take them by surprise and free the women, but I’m outmanned five to one.
I snap off a few pictures and slowly ease up to my knees. I need to make it back to my vehicle so I can follow them. Yes, that’s what I’ll do, and then I’ll call our FBI liaison and they’ll swarm.
The case will be solved and I’ll be a hero.
The professional part of my brain—the part my father trained from the time I was eight years old, the part the NSA refined and then Jameson sharpened—does what it’s supposed to do.
Frame. Focus. Document.
Don’t panic.
I quietly move from my knees to a squatted position, ready to low-walk my way out of here without being seen.
For a moment, it occurs to me that I might get in trouble with our intrepid leader, Malik Fournier, over this. I was supposed to be here with one of the other agents, Reid Calder, but he got called in to support another mission and I was told to table this surveillance for later in the week. I’m directly disobeying Malik’s orders, so even if I’m successful in rescuing these women, I’ll be in trouble.
I put that out of my mind because it’s irrelevant to worry about now. The bottom line, BOB said there was a likelihood of this going down tonight, so I had to come. The next data point that lets us reconstruct this opportunity might be six months out.
That’s six months of women being trafficked and I can’t stomach that.
The plan from here is uncomplicated. I’ll pull back through the trees the way I came in, get in my SUV, and tail the van when it leaves the access road.
I put the camera to my face and click off a few more snaps of the last of the women going into the van.
That’s when the arm comes around my throat from behind, fast and hard, hooking under my jaw, and then I’m being dragged backward into a chest that feels as big as a refrigerator.
A second hand pins my right wrist against my own collarbone before I can get the camera up to swing it as a weapon. That doesn’t stop me from thrashing though, my heartbeat slamming against my rib cage with fear.
“What are you doing here?” The man’s voice is low, clearly Russian.
“Photography,” I manage to squeak out, hoping to sound like a dimwitted woman. “Night work. Long exposure. That old dock on the channel was perfect in the moonlight. That’s all.”
“But you took pictures of more than just the dock, no?” he inquires with menace.
And then he’s dragging me again. Through the brush, along a switchback and down onto the dock, where the other men turn in surprise.
“Who’s that, Sergei?” one of them asks, also with a Russian accent.
“A woman I find hiding in the bushes with a camera,” he says, and then releases his hold on me. He then shoves me hard in the back and I stumble forward several feet before I right myself.
One of the other men approaches me. “Do you have identification?” he demands.
“In my truck.”
“Where is truck?” he asks, his accent heavier with deeper rolling R’s.
“Up the access road, about a quarter mile.”
He smiles, and it’s not friendly. “Who do you work for?”
“Nobody. I’m freelance.”
“What is your name?”
“Sarah Klein. I’m just a photographer, I swear,” I say, real panic lacing my words. “I’m entering a nighttime photography contest. I was just photographing the dock.”
The men exchange glances.
“I mean… yeah, I saw the boat come up,” I babble, hoping something good pops out. “And yeah… the women, so I just assumed… hey, party boat. Know what I mean? I didn’t take pictures of that, though.”
Lame, Josie.
So lame.
The man pulls a gun from inside his jacket and it’s clear he doesn’t believe me. He grabs my arm and presses the barrel of his pistol into my lower back.
“Mikhail… we should not leave her in the channel,” the man says to the others. “Current goes south. Body might come up off Whidbey by morning.”
“Weight her,” one of them suggests.
I’m struck by the fact that they’re not whispering or lowering their voices. They’re talking about killing me like they’re discussing tomorrow’s forecast.
I’ve been a Jameson agent for only three months. Before that, I was an NSA analyst for six years. Prior to that, I was a graduate student. Before that, I was a kid taking apart computers in my father’s study and putting them back together while he timed me with a stopwatch. None of those previous lives nor the training I received in the NSA or at Jameson have prepared me for this very real scenario of standing on a dock in the dead of night while three men decide whether to weigh down my body before they put it in the water.
What prepared me is who my father is, and the small fact that very early he taught me a rule about being outnumbered.
The rule is don’t be there to have those odds realized.
I take it all in and get my analytical mind spinning. One man is six feet in front of me. Another eight feet to his left and looking at his phone screen. The one who caught me on the bluff is ten feet to the right, his gun holstered. The other men are at the van. The dock edge is four feet behind me and the water below is a twelve-foot drop into frigid, inky blackness.
The odds are not good, but they’re better than waiting for the bullet to my brain. I lash out with my leg, kicking one man to the anterior portion of his knee, causing it to buckle with an accompanying scream of pain.
I’m running before he hits the wooden boards of the deck.
Two long strides, Russian men swearing behind me, and I launch into the darkness, executing a clean dive into the water at full speed.
The cold debilitates me instantly, every single nerve ending in my body firing into a million points of pain. For the first few seconds under the surface, I literally cannot think what I should do.
Luckily, my training kicks in and I know I have to stay under as long as possible. I kick to swim deeper, ditching the camera looped around my neck. My first instinct is to move under the dock, but I dismiss it, kicking farther into the deep.
I hear vague pops of sound from above and while I can’t see anything, I know they’re shooting at me.
Please don’t hit me.

I kick my legs hard, sweeping my arms in wide pushing arcs to propel me farther.
My lungs are burning, I’m getting dizzy, but I keep myself under the water. I’m weighed down by my tactical pants. My boots are the heaviest.
And in fact, there comes the realization that they’re dragging me down, and I need to get to the surface before I black out.
It’s a Herculean effort, but I angle up and kick hard. I see nothing but black all around and have no clue how far down I am. I kick and kick and kick and then I’m sucking in cold air.
Even as I’m gasping, taking in the precious oxygen, I spin myself around toward the dock.
All the men stand at the end and peer into the darkness, and I realize with so much relief I almost start crying that they can’t see me.
I also realize… the current is pulling me farther away and my legs are like rubber trying to tread water.
I shed my jacket and work on my boots next. I keep going under every time I have to tug on the laces because I can’t kick to stay up. After several attempts, I get them both off and the relief to my numb muscles is immediate.
One of the men now has a flashlight, sweeping the water, but it can’t reach out this far. They’re shouting at each other.
“She has to come up.”
“She came up under the dock.”
“She did not come up under the dock. I was watching.”
“Get the boat.”
“Get the boat, get the boat—”
“We don’t have time. We need to go.”
Yes, please just fucking go.
I’m alone. I’m freezing. I cannot feel my fingers. I’m being pulled into open water in the dark.
I think about my father.
Not in any specific way. Just a flicker. The way he sits at the kitchen table with his coffee in the mornings now, alone, and I think I’m sorry I’m about to do this to you.
And then I hear it.
An engine, but it’s not coming from the boat at the dock.
It’s behind me… out in the channel. It sounds small and there are no lights.
I turn in circles in the water, small waves lapping at my chin. I can’t see anything.
It could be a fisherman.
It could be the Coast Guard.
It could be more Russians called in to look for me, and because I’m an analyst, I have to admit it’s the most likely answer.
And then the engine cuts and it’s nothing but silence except for the slap of waves against my face and my own ragged breathing.
I can’t see anything in the dark out there. I don’t know if the boat is twenty feet from me or eighty. I don’t know if whoever is on it is reaching for a radio or a rifle or nothing at all.

When Finn, an art smuggler, fishes special operative Josie out of the water to save her after she he is struck with how beautiful she is. And then he realizes how much danger she had just gotten herself into with Russian human traffickers. On paper these two should not make sense. Bit they fall for each other. And as they realize how much danger Josie is in they just hope they can get through taking down the traffickers alive. loving this spin off Jameson Force series. This second book in the series was a great read. Full of suspense, betrayal, romance and spicy times.

I love the Jameson Series. this one brings us Josie. Josie is a lead analyst who gets Intel on a hit. She was told to not go alone but she wanted to just get some information. Data and photos will do. When the bad guys spot her on the dock, she ends up in the water but alive. A passing boat rescues her, but she wonders why is this boat out in the open waters in the middle of the night. Finn is an art smuggler. He grew up on the streets and did some time but also has made himself a ton of money. He has a gallery and lives very well but the thrill of smuggling is in his blood and it does provide well. When he rescues Josie, he finds out who she is after and what she does. There is no way this could be anything. As they deal with the Russians who are after her, they fall in love but will their love be enough when they lead very different lives? What happens when the Russians eventually find her and want to finish what they started on those docks?

Formally an intelligence officer for the NSA, she’s now Jameson’s lead intelligence specialist. She’s very smart, intuitive, and determined in everything she does. One night while chasing a lead at a boating dock to help with an ongoing investigation she’s working on, Josie inadvertently gets captured by one of the suspects & dragged down to the docks. She’s there without backup, so she has to think fast for a way to escape. There’s a small diversion quick enough for her to jump in the freezing cold water & try to stay hidden. Meanwhile, Finn Marlowe and his two partners, Marcus & Connie, were just coming back by boat from a “job” they’d accomplished when Finn sees the whole situation with Josie unfold. Finn & Marcus are watching the water when they finally see Josie appear. Finn helps her aboard his boat, and they get away without being pursued. This story gets much more complicated with Josie’s case after that night. Feelings between Josie & Flynn change rather quickly & friends that you thought you could always count on may surprise you. This is a great addition to the Jameson Force series. I love reading about the missions they get involved with! Would definitely recommend this book!!

I’m seriously loving the ever-growing worlds she creates, and how they all cleverly intertwine, bringing different characters and universes together. Code Name: Harbor had me hooked from the start. Josie McAdams and Finn Marlowe are complete opposites. She’s all rules and order, while he’s a morally challenged smuggler living on the wrong side of the law. Despite their differences, they somehow work together. Their chemistry, tension, and growing trust make them impossible not to root for. Add in plenty of action, danger, twists, secrets, and heat, and this was another seriously entertaining read. I loved Finn’s gruff, ambiguous side and Josie’s strength and determination. Watching their relationship unfold was just so good. Another fabulous addition to the Jameson Force universe, and I’m officially invested in every interconnected world she creates. Bring on the next one! ❤️🔥

This is book 2 in the Jameson Force Seattle series about analyst Josie and smuggler Finn. I loved this opposites attract book. The characters did meet and fall for each other quickly but I thought it was done well and worked with the storyline. I liked how Finn was willing to change for Josie and how protective of her he was. This was a good storyline with the perfect amount of romance and suspense. I’m looking forward to the next one in the series.

Code Name: Harbor was an interesting and intriguing book! It sucked me in right away and kept me hooked. Josie and Finn are both likable main characters. They have a unique meet cute to say the least. And then their relationship grows quickly from that point on. The storyline was very interesting with several twists and turns along the way. Romantic suspense done at its best! CODE NAME: HARBOR had everything I love, danger, tension, strong characters and a romance that wouldn’t quit! Josie and Finn were a great couple. I loved watching their uneasy alliance grow into something deeper. The suspense kept me turning the pages and the human trafficking storyline added plenty of emotion and intensity. Finn was a great hero and Josie was strong, determined and easy to root for. Their chemistry was undeniable. I enjoyed every moment of their story. One of the best parts of reading romantic suspense is the “meet cutes” are often intense and let’s just say Josie got herself into quite the jam while on an “op” in pitch black dark of the night of the Salish Sea between Seattle and Canada and Finn and his captain were there to rescue her. She knew enough to not ask questions but that certainly didn’t mean she didn’t have them. She was one of the best NSA agents and a lead intelligence specialist for Jameson security force. That is actually what I loved most about Josie- she so very clearly is very smart. But underneath all of her training, intelligence she is still a woman that loves her father, her friends, wants to find love and will do what she can to protect others. And then there is Finn, who is actually very complicated. As readers we knew that Finn skirted the law; he was really a good guy- his family was his crew Marcus and Connie. The way he made the bulk of his money was maybe not legal but that came from years of fending for himself and having to do what he needed to do to survive while that doesn’t make it right- it certainly is a reason. Josie and Finn had immediate chemistry and while neither of them was expecting to find love on the water that night they couldn’t ignore their draw to one another. There was a lot working against these two between their jobs and some friends doubting their connection. And lets just say these two lit the pages on fire! The emotional level in this book was very high- the tension on the page was palpable. Bennett did such an amazing job ratcheting up the suspense and tension we could almost feel that the bad guys were becoming increasingly angry and anxious. That wasn’t the only tension- there was pressure from Finn’s crew because being in the crosshairs of the Russians was not the place to be. You know a book is amazing when you pull up maps while you listen so you can track where the action is happening. Erin Mallon and Sean Masters really did such a phenomenal job bringing Josie McAams and Finn Marlowe to life- so if you are an audiobook reader I cannot recommend listening to this one! Another high stakes hit from Sawyer Bennett and I cannot wait for what is next up in the Jameson Seattle series.

Feels like old school Sawyer Bennett. I LOVED this story and it feels like some of her older books with just the right amount of suspense, intrigue, and romance. Finn is just the perfect definition of a rogue and Josie is strong, independent, and learns from her mistakes. These two meet when Finn rescues her from almost certain death in the frigid waters after escaping Russian criminals. What transpires is a delicate balance as you see Josie is part of a law enforcing security company and Finn is a smuggler which is why he was on the dark waters that night with his boat lights conveniently turned off. Their connection starts as Josie wants Finn's help with the Russians and Finn is intrigued and definitely wants to get to know Josie better. These two quickly begin a whirlwind romance that doesn't sit well with all of Finn's smuggler crew. Oh and the Russians are certainly hunting for Josie as well. This one kept you turning the page to see what would happen next and the ending did NOT disappoint with its explosiveness! I really loved these two together and Finn is sure to be a fave of mine for this series. I am enjoying this series and hope the next one is just as entertaining. I voluntarily requested and read an advance reader copy.

It’s book two in the Jamieson Force, Seattle Series and it’s a captivating read or listen. Josie is involved in an investigation into human trafficking when a bad decision puts her life in danger and she finds herself in the hands of Finn. From the moment they meet sparks fly but not everything is what it seems and they find themselves not knowing who they can trust. As they spend time together feelings come into play and lines are crossed but will Jamieson Force and the FBI believe what really happened……. I fell hard and fast for Finn and I want Josie in my corner but what took this book to another level was the forbidden romance story that has so much depth to it. I was drawn in from the first chapter and there was no putting down until the final page and even then I wanted more.

This book had me hooked right from the start!!! I forgot everything around me while listening and or reading! Josie works for Jameson and is on a mission to catch a Russian trafficker - but unfortunately she went out on her own and gets caught - her only way to survive is to jump in the very cold water of the Salish sea! Finn - an art gallery owner by day and an art smuggler at night - is a witness of Josie jumping into the water and jumps to her rescue. Can we say it’s love at first sight with these 2? Well, definitely attraction at first sight! This book is thrilling, and Sawyer Bennett has a way with writing these characters in this series! I’m a fan since the beginning, the OG Jameson’s! It’s keeping you hooked, if you want it or not, doesn’t matter. I read and finished this book well past my bedtime!!! The narrators are some of my favorites, so I absolutely enjoyed listening to them!

I wasn't quite sure that this Code Name Harbor would be something that I would like. But I like almost everything Sawyer writes and decided to give it a try. It's a good thing or else I would have missed a great read. Who doesn't like a smart powerful woman and a handsome, wealthy man with a mysteries background and a hero to boot. Joise who works for a top level security company while out on recon she runs into some trouble and her life is in serious danger. While trying to survive a savior comes in a rescues Joise. Finn the hero has a complicated background and should keep his distance from Joise, but something tells him to save her. Finn is glad he did but that in doing so puts his life at risk. Very entertaining story.

Action packed, this started with a bang and had me holding on until the end. Josie, an intelligence analyst for Jameson Security gets caught scoping out a Russian slave ring, and when they are going to kill her, she jumps into the ocean. She is found by Finn, a man who has made smuggling his life, but sparks fly when he and Josie get together. The Russian doesn’t believe Josie died in the ocean and is hunting for her. This fast paced story has intrigue and romance and in Sawyer Bennett’s hand it is developed into a book that read like a movie. Another winner here!

I listened to the audiobook alongside reading the ebook, and Erin Mallon and Sean Masters nailed it. The characters brought the story to life perfectly, the chemistry between them was everything I would expect from Josie and Finn. I loved it. I received advanced copies of both the ebook and the audiobook. This is my honest review.

What a heart pounding, on the edge of my seat story! Sawyer Bennett doesn’t waste any time, she dove into action from the very beginning. The suspense and angst had me rapidly turning the pages! Crime fighting and action packed to the very end! What a wild ride! Awesome book!

Code Name: Harbor is an exciting and addictive romantic suspense that kept me hooked from beginning to end. Josie McAdams, a rule-following intelligence specialist for Jameson Force Seattle, and Finn Marlowe, a smuggler living on the wrong side of the law, make an unlikely but irresistible pair. As they work together to bring down a dangerous human trafficking ring, they are forced to confront their own assumptions about trust, loyalty, and right versus wrong. I loved the chemistry between Josie and Finn. Their relationship develops naturally, and the tension between them is balanced perfectly with the suspense and action. Finn's protective nature and Josie's strength and determination made them easy to root for. The Seattle waterfront setting added a unique atmosphere, and the high-stakes mission kept the pages turning. Beyond the romance, I enjoyed seeing both characters grow as they learned to trust each other and fight for something bigger than themselves. Overall, this was a thrilling, emotional, and satisfying read with wonderful characters, plenty of action, and a heartfelt romance. Another great addition to the Jameson Force Seattle series!

Josie is on a recon mission alone when she is found out and barely made it alive, all because of Finn and Marcus who saved her. She never questions Finn directly for his involvement with the russians but being an analyst nothing is off the board. Finn is an art gallery owner, a bit of a bucaneer and mysterious businessman. Suspense, drama, betrayal and strong friendships on both sides, and heroics will take you on a ride and something that wil surprise you. Chef’s kiss Sawyer Bennett!

Thirty-one year old Josie McAdams is an intelligence specialist for the Jameson Force in Seattle. Most of her time is spent on computers but with this new case involving human trafficking she is in the field trying to get intel on the Russians while working with the FBI. Much to Josie's surprise, she is caught but manages to escape into the water and ends up being rescued by thirty-six year old Finn Owen Marlowe. Finn is a handsome smuggler who specializes in high-end art and antiquities along with his crew of Marcus Whitfield and Connie Modesto. Josie is hesitant but believes she can trust Finn. Finn explains that Mikhail Sokolov works for Anatoli Voronin, very bad Russian mobsters and that they will be looking for Josie. Finn is instantly attracted to Josie but doesn't want to cross the Russians. When Josie ends up at Finn's front door asking for help, he knows he is in trouble. Finn is VERY attracted to Josie. Josie realizes that Finn is some type of criminal, but is drawn to him in ways that she cannot understand and before you know they are crossing that line into lovers and quickly turning into something more. Finn insists on protecting Josie from the Russians. Things are going great until someone double crosses Finn and danger comes calling. Once the dust settles, Finn realizes that he wants a life with Josie and does whatever he can to make that happen. Finally Finn and Josie find their happy ending. I loved this steamy, suspenseful romance. Finn and Josie were just delicious together. Such a fun taboo of criminal and law enforcement. I enjoyed seeing some of the other Jameson agents as well as a few new faces. Overall this story had great characters, a fun storyline that keeps you reading and a beautiful love story.

This is one of those books that you can sit and read in one sitting and not fill any ounce of guilt. I had a few small job to achieve throughout my day, and I still managed to finish this before dinner. I feel the narrators had a part in that too. Sean Master and Erin Mallon were amazing with Finn and Josie, and I was hooked on their depictions from the first chapter. These Code Name books all have a special forces action happening within a romance and I think this particular story is one of my favourites from the whole Jameson Universe. It has the action that keeps you anticipating what's next and of course the romance. Maybe it was also that good and (not so) bad came together to eliminate evil and the good guys win that makes this well worth the read.

I love a good romantic suspense book and this one has a heavy pour of both romance and suspense. Honestly at first I was questioning how Josie & Finn were going to work out. I knew they would but would their morals be compromised? Would they have to compromise their ethics to fight for their love? I was fully invested to see how this played out. Finn has made his own way after not the greatest upbringing. So when he finds a girl in the dark on the harbor, he follows his moral compass and helps save her from the freezing water. While Finn might be a criminal, he still has empathy and kindness inside him. What he does criminally isn’t necessarily hurting anyone. Josie is working on taking down a human trafficking ring & she needs Finn’s help. They follow a fine line for a while until their truths are shared… and they realize there’s no stopping the fall into love that’s happening all so quickly. I really liked the suspense but the narrators for Finn & Josie were great. They made them feel more real & you could actually feel the emotion as they told the story. Definitely recommend the audio with this story!

I loved the first Jameson Force series, and it's Seattle branch is coming in hot. Code Name : Harbor follows Finn, an art dealer with a side gig, and our favorite analyst Josie. Things start off cool with Josie being rescued in the water, but heat up fast as Finn protects her from a very hot headed foe. Needless to say this book kept me up past my bedtime as I didn't want it to end. If you like suspense, a lot of page turning, and a kid from the wrong side of the tracks that makes something of himself and the girl that sees him for who he is, pick this one up.

Fantastic! This is a keep you on the edge type of read. It’s a good vs evil story that puts our heroine in serious danger. An unlikely hero vows to keep her safe and together they save each other. Jameson Force Seattle is a great series with interesting characters and always lots of excitement. I really loved this book.

It's so good! It has action, a couple of villians, good heartfelt and honest moments. Very good tension too. Finn and Josie just seem to fit. There's full transparency between them, which I found refreshing. And with her dad too! Plus I really liked that the story showed a very smart man recognizing how valuable and enriching it could be to have a partner. A little pivot goes a long way.

I was hooked from chapter one. The danger, the heat, the smart and stubborn heroine and the bad boy that's really a great man. The story was fast paced, suspenseful, witty, swoony and sexy. I can't wait for more from Jameson Force but Finn and Josie might be hard to beat.

A completely unlikely pair - the law abiding operator and the thief who works on the black market. While complete opposites in their daily lives it only takes one spark to ignite something neither one of them were prepared for. And when danger and mayhem come knocking on the door the two are stronger together than expected. A quick paced and highly addictive romantic suspense book that was a joy to read form beginning to end.

The Jameson Force series has been one I have enjoyed from the very beginning, so I was happy when we ventured to Seattle with this new series. Code Name: Harbor is the second book in the Seattle series. Josie McAdams has always followed the rules. As an intelligence specialist with Jameson Force Security, it has allowed her to help to catch bad guys before they can inflict damage on their target. When Josie makes the decision to go against the rules and a late night mission at the docks goes awry she is extremely fortunate to be rescued by a mysterious man and she isn't expecting that man to turn her head! Finn Marlowe is an art dealer, but he is also deals in less than above board things with his team on the water after dark. When he and his team come across a woman in the water, they don't hesitate to help Josie even though they know it could cause problems. Josie knows that she is about to cross a line knowing that what Finn does in part of his life and what she does for a living don't mesh, but there is a pull between them that is undeniable. As they become closer, they have to decide how they are going to navigate what all goes on in their lives given they are on two sides of the law. Will they be able to do it? Watching how this story unfolded kept me on the edge of my seat! There were times I didn't think there was a way that it would all work out, but with the help of her team at Jameson and Finn's knowledge they made it work. I love this series and I'm already ready for the next one! **I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**

4.5 Stars! I love this exciting and seductive series! Josie and Finn's forbidden romance is captivating, raw, and passionate. Josie McAdams is an intelligence specialist for Jameson Force Seattle. When she runs into trouble on a mission, she is rescued by a mysterious man. Finn Marlowe deals in art by day and contraband by night. He is captivated by the beautiful and intelligent woman he rescued, but that puts him and his team in danger. When Josie asks him to help with her case, he knows he needs to help her so he can keep her safe. Even though Josie and Finn are on opposite sides of the law, they can't ignore the fiery pull between them. As they get closer, and their hearts become involved, will they be able to find a future together? When their worlds collide, and their lives are in danger, will they be able to keep each other safe? This story is so thrilling and breathtaking and my heart was pounding as I feared for their safety at times. I loved Josie and Finn together, they were opposites who made each other whole, and their chemistry is off the charts. Of course the whole Jameson family are essential to this story being over protective and supportive, but having fun together as well. I am enjoying getting to know this new Jameson Force Security team and I can't wait for their next adventure! The narration by Erin Mallon and Sean Masters was flawless. They were so perfectly cast to bring Josie and Finn to life with all their convictions, courage, vulnerabilities, tenderness and passion. Their inflections, and timing were spot on and I was riveted throughout. They made this already exhilarating story even better!
